Best Master-Planned Communities in Texas
The RCLCO 2021 rankings report has named Santa Rita Ranch one of the best master-planned communities in Texas once again! Santa Rita Ranch previously made the list of the top-50 best-selling master-planned communities in the country back in 2020, and we’re so proud to see it on there again, ranked at number nine in the state of Texas overall and number one in the Austin/Round Rock area!
Here at L&P Marketing Solutions, we love seeing our clients succeed time and time again, and we’re always thrilled when industry-leading organizations like RCLCO and Zonda Metrostudy acknowledge all the hard work that our clients put into their communities. In fact, Zonda Metrostudy named Santa Rita Ranch the “Most Active Community in Austin” last year, too. While we know the folks at the Ranch appreciate this kind of recognition, we also know their real joy comes from helping new families find dream homes in Texas.
In fact, we chatted with Santa Rita Ranch Developer Ed Horne about the news. He said that while it’s been an exciting and busy year on the Ranch, seeing so many new faces around the neighborhood makes them the happiest. He also expressed a lot of enthusiasm for the year to come, because Santa Rita Ranch will be unveiling some really exciting new projects, including a new 55+ Regency active adult community, the Grove Church, an on-site Kids ‘R’ Kids daycare, and much more!
It’s an exciting time to be a master-planned community in Texas. According to that same RCLCO report, home sales at most of the top-selling master-planned communities in the country were up some five percent in 2021, and 18 of the year’s 50 top-selling master-planned communities were in Texas! Why? Because Texas has so much going for it, including great jobs, fantastic education opportunities, a booming economy, and so much more.

Of course, that’s only part of the story. It takes a good community to attract new homeowners, even in a booming marketplace, and it also takes good master-planned community marketing strategies.
