Looking Back, Looking Ahead, and Always Enjoying the Present

The holidays are fast approaching, and it won’t be long now until our homes are all bursting with smiles, laughter and filled with the aromas of yummy things from the oven. All is becoming very merry and bright, and before we know it, it’ll be the beginning of a new year.

Reflecting on the Past Year

There’s no better time for reflecting on the past year, highlighting some of our best memories from the year gone by, and showing appreciation for the people who helped us get here: our clients, customers, vendor partners, and our team. When we think about what the holidays mean to us, gratitude is the first thing that comes to mind. The amazing year we’re leaving behind wouldn’t have been possible without all of you.

There’s nothing we love more than seeing our clients reach new heights, increase their standing on the national stage, and sell more homes than they ever imagined. We got to see a lot of that in 2021. We also saw a number of changes in both the real estate market and the lives of our clients. We saw multi-family come back in a big way, while median home prices were above proformas in almost all markets thanks to a robust housing economy that saw more people moving to the state of Texas than ever before.

We were privileged to see a client sell the bulk of their life’s work in what has been termed “an explosive ending to a novel career,” and we all gave shouts of joy at the arrival of another client’s precious new baby boy thanks to the amazing surgeons at Texas Children’s Hospital!

Of course, neither we nor our clients are ones to rest on our laurels, and we’re looking forward to helping with the launches of several new communities in 2022, each with a unique story to share. Check back often as we head into the new year and stay tuned for all of the exciting new things to come!

Julie’s Fifteen-Year Feast

Meanwhile, around the office, we were celebrating milestones of our own, including lifting a glass to Julie’s 15th year at the agency, breaking bread for Heather’s pending nuptials and following her island honeymoon on Instagram, and zooming with Swati and Saket from far, far away as they make wedding plans in Jaipur for their festivities next yea

Of course, it hasn’t all been celebrations. There’s been a lot of hard work, too, and we’re incredibly proud of the launch of our brand-new L&P Marketing website, which incorporates insights and innovations from just about everyone on our team to make the most comprehensive website we could manage.

In fact, we are incredibly proud of all the strategic creative and digital work that our team and all of our partners have helped bring into reality. Our remote village has pulled together like never before to not only make things happen but make things even better every time. We are blessed to work with so many insightful, creative people. We love collaborating with each and every one of you!
